Who we are

Global AI Atlas is a free 3D map of AI startups, run by Nubri GmbH, Liebenowzeile 22, 12167 Berlin, Germany (info@nubri.co), the controller for the data described here.

What we store

• Startup submissions: what you enter in “Add your startup” (company name, website, location, sector, stage, description) and your email address, so we can check the listing and contact you about it.
• Company listings: public information about companies, gathered from public sources; it is about companies, not about visitors.
• Visits: a random visitor ID and where you first came from (kept in your browser's local storage), and which page a visit started on.

Why, and on what basis

We process submissions to review and publish listings you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and visit data to keep the site secure and see which channels bring visitors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who processes data for us

• Amazon Web Services (hosting)

Transfers to the United States rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell data.

Retention and deletion

We keep submissions while the listing exists or until you ask us to delete them; email info@nubri.co. Companies can ask us to correct or remove their listing the same way.

Cookies and storage

We set no cookies. Local storage holds the visitor ID and first-visit source described above. No advertising or third-party tracking. Map tiles are served from our own server.

Server logs

Our web server logs each request: IP address, time, the address requested, the response, and your browser's user agent. We use the logs to keep the service running and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); they are deleted automatically after at most 8 days.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction or export of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests: email info@nubri.co. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
